Understand Fabric Sizes

Fabric Size Guide
All of our fabrics measure approximately 112 cm wide and can be purchased by the metre, half metre, thin quarter or fat quarter; please see the diagrams below for more information on each of the individual sizes and their dimensions. 

We have simplified our ordering system so that you now order your fabric quantities in multiples of fat quarters. If you require one fat quarter enter 1 in the box. If you require half a metre enter 2, One metre enter 4, two metres 8 etc. We will always send your fabric as one length uncut unless otherwise specified. If you would prefer a thin quarter cut to a fat quarter simply change the setting to 'no' in the fat quarter box and we will cut a thin quarter instead.

1 Metre
100 cm (approx 39 inches) by approx 112 cm (approx 44 inches).

 

Half Metre
50 cm (approx 19 ½ inches) by approx 112 cm (approx 44 inches).

 

Thin Quarter
25 cm (approx 10 inches) by approx 112 cm (approx 44 inches).
 

Fat Quarter
50 cm (approx 19 ½ inches) by approx 56 cm (approx 22 inches).
