Top Q1. Are all your fabrics 100% cotton?
A. Yes, all our fabrics are 100% cotton and specifically made for patchwork and quilting
Top Q2. How can I be sure the colour I see on my screen is a good match?
A. When we photograph our fabrics, great care is taken to ensure the best colour match possible. However, computer screens can vary in how they display colours, so we can never guarantee an exact match. If it is important that you get a perfect match you may want to consider sending a small sample so we can make sure we get the best match possible.
Top Q3. What if I don't like the fabrics when I get them, can I return them?
A. Yes, if for any reason you feel you can't use the fabrics when they arrive please return them for a full refund carefully packaged to:
Quilter's Cloth
253 Queen Ediths Way
Cambridge
CB1 8NJ.
Because we offer free delivery we ask that you pay the postage on any returns.
Top Q4. How do I know if the fabrics I am buying will work well together?
A. If you see fabrics displayed as part of a family they are designed to go together so will be a good colour match.
If you choose any of our related products or blenders to match, you can be sure we have taken great care in making sure they will work great together. Of course, how well colours go together is subjective, so we can't guarantee you will agree with us - but if you don't like the fabric you can return it.
Top Q5. Do you sell dress fabric?
A. All our fabric is 100% cotton and is suitable for dressmaking but is probably most suitable for children's wear.
Top Q6. I have an old fabric and I need some more - do you have any?
A. It is always a problem when you run out of a fabric before you've finished the quilt. We will do our best to help and even if we don't have any ourselves we may be able to tell you where you might get it. We will always be able to offer an alternative, either something that is very similar or maybe a complementary colour or style.
Top Q7. Do you have anything to go with this fabric?
A. If you are looking for fabrics to go with one you have already purchased you can send us a small sample and we will either call you with options you can look at on the website or if you prefer we can send you some samples which match.
Top Q8. Are you a shop and can we visit you?
A. Because of the various changes in styles and stock, we only trade online, but we do attend quilt shows regularly. We are also happy to come along to quilt groups with a selection of fabric. See Contact Us to get in touch.
Top Q9. What if I want a fabric you don't stock?
A. We are constantly adding to our stock, but if you think we should stock a particular range, please feel free to email us at shop@quilterscloth.com and we will do our best to source it for you.
Top Q10. I bought a fabric a while ago from you and need some more but I can't find it
A. Many of our fabrics are only available once, and when they are gone we cannot re-order. If fabrics are standard then we will tell you in the description, and if they are only available once, like many of our batiks, try and order enough because once they are gone we cannot get anymore.
Top Q11. How much do you charge for delivery?
A. We currently offer free delivery on all fabrics. For full details on delivery please see our delivery section.
Top Q12. Do you stock wadding and notions?
A. No - at the moment we are dedicated to giving you as much choice of fabric as possible so want to use all available storage space for fabric. We know of some excellent suppliers of wadding and notions, please browse our other sections for more details.
Top Q13. Do you plan to attend any Quilting Shows?
A. We normally attend the autumn and spring quilt festivals at Chilford Hall, Linton just outside Cambridge and Birmingham Festival of Quilts. Unfortunately though, we will not be able to attend any shows until 2009 as we will be dedicating much our time this year to developing our new website. We are disappointed about this, but have lots of plans for the new year and hope to see everyone then.
