Our New Design Wall

At Quilters Cloth we know how frustrating it can be trying to plan what fabrics and colours to use in a quilt design. We have been known, on occasion, to spend more time deciding on the colour scheme of a quilt than actually making it! We also realise the importance when purchasing fabric of seeing all the patterns and colours you are considering next to each other. This is why we came up with the concept of our new design wall and we hope it will enhance and improve your shopping experience with us.

To use the design wall simply add the fabrics you are considering to your basket. Add as many as you like, even fabrics you are not sure about at all as it is no trouble to delete these at a later date.

When you have added some fabrics to your basket and want to see how they are looking, just click on 'My Design Wall' at the top right-hand corner of the screen and this will take you to your design wall page.

Now you can see all the fabrics you have added to your basket at once. This is so useful as you can decide if there is more of one particular colour that you need or if something really isn't working. You can also drag the squares around and see which fabrics look good next to each other and change the order around to suit.

We have found the design wall really helpful in terms of seeing how fabrics look next to each other and have actually been quite surprised at times to see to fabrics complimenting each other that we did not think would work.

So go ahead and experiment, we do hope you find it helpful when making your fabric selections and designing your quilts.
