Colours - Overview
Part of the enjoyment of patchwork, appliqué and quilting is in the selection of fabric. However, this is also a part of
patchwork quilting which causes problems for both the novice and experienced quilter as they try to determine the 'right'
combination of colours.
That is where we need to remember an important piece of advice from Ann Seely and Joyce Stewart in their book 'Color Magic
for Quilters'. Here they remind us that 'The truth is, there aren't any rules about colour'.
There are of course guidelines and once you discover a little about the colour wheel and colour value, I am sure you will
really start to enjoy experimenting with colours.
