There are two distinct flower shapes in this range and both of them come in a most delectable range of colours. This is a metallic Japanese blender, which you’ll use time and time again. Use it to border and showcase large scale designs or even on its own. If you can’t find the colour you’re looking for here then check out the Mikoto collection and you’re sure to find something there.

This is a collection of metallic Japanese blenders in a beautiful range of colours and we will be constantly adding new colours so keep checking back. These blenders prove themselves to be useful time and time again and are perfect accompaniments to all styles of Japanese quilts. In fact they can be used anywhere - especially the versatile black and cream, which prove themselves to be invaluable additions to many quilts.

We are always adding fabrics to the site, but until a whole collection is added this is where they will live temporarily. Sometimes we can't resist the one off print and this is where you'll find it. Don't forget to check back from time to time, especially if you are a lover of Kona Bay as you never know what you might find.

This is a recent addition to our Kona Bay collection and one of the most beautiful. With two large-scale florals in a heavenly blue and laid back cream, these prints use colours to magnificent effect.
Blues and purples meet up with leafy greens and salmon pinks, all with the added beauty of metallic gold. The blenders in this collection are also stunning and the non metallic periwinkle blue could easily find a place in many a traditional floral quilt.

There are only two florals in this collection but they are so beautiful that they deserve a whole page to themselves. With very little stock remaining, they are the most delicate of Japanese designs. Perfectly matched with the cream, pink and purple blenders from the Mikoto collection, you should certainly not let this one get away.

Kona Bay
Fabric converter and importer Kona Bay is based in Honolulu. Kona Bay produce what can easily be described as rich and sumptuous Japanese designs with collections in the emotive names of Yasuko, Susuko, Sukuro and Nishiki collections to name but a few - a must for quilters who wish to be inspired by the colours of the Far East.
Other collections reflect the bright Pacific colours of Honolulu itself, whilst the Seattle Collection is full of soft pastel designs of nature through the seasons.
The Kona Bay website also provides free quilting patterns and for those who might fancy a break from the sewing needle they produce free knitting patterns too.
