The overall design and colour of this fabric gives a soft comforting feel. Across the royal blue background are printed in the Sue Zipkin watercolour style flowers, leaves and foliage reminiscent of Crewel work embroidery.

The flower heads measure an inch to an inch and a half in diameter with moss green and rusty orange centres and petals of mustard yellow and lilac. Tulip heads have deep pink centres and turquoise outer petals. Interspersed amongst the flowers are foliage, leaves, swirls and dots, which use the same warm misty colours.

This fabric can be used to create a beautifully gentle and cosy patchwork quilt when combined with the other designs in the Pompeii range. On its own it can be used to create soft furnishings.
