A tint of orange which can be seen in its namesake fruit and many spring and summer flowers. Peach is a colour which can add freshness to a colour scheme of pale creams and greens. As a shade of orange peach is softer and therefore can be mixed with brighter colours to add subtlety to an otherwise vibrant quilt of bright yellows, oranges and blues.
Peach mixed with dark glossy greens and lime greens adds highlights to a dark tropical mix. It is a colour which works well with blues, for example, using peaches, pinks and yellows as stars against a deep blue background or as part of a range of oranges and yellows to represent fish in an aqua blue sea.
