Martha Negley has been painting decorative patterns for nearly 30 years. In the late 1970s, Martha started with a small textile company working on repeats and colourways. She then moved to Kansas City in the American mid-west to work for a greeting card company. In the 1990s Martha established her own company in Kansas City.

From the Martha Negley Studio she produces designs for many products including stationary, gifts and wallpaper. Her quilting fabric designs include soft, subtle leaf patterns which blend well with contemporary floral and other prints. Martha's own floral designs are stunning and yet have a gentle feel.
